Solution-Soft's Time Machine® Now Supports Distroless & MSSQL Containers
SANTA CLARA, CA, October 4, 2019 SolutionSoft Systems Inc. (Solution-Soft), the leader in date and time testing software solutions, has released a new version of its flagship software Time Machine to support Distroless containers and MSSQL containers.
Time Machine users can now run with Distroless containers (developed by Google), Distroless containers reduce the Docker container footprint to include only the application, its resources, and language runtime dependencies without operating system distribution. This heightens security, reduces patching vulnerability overhead, and boosts performance with smaller image sizes.
"With the increasing popularity of Agile/DevOps & CI/CD, we've seen many of our customers moving their workloads into the containers. Some even have a mixture of docker containers and containers. We’ve also extended our support to include the MSSQL Docker container for Linux, a new innovation from Microsoft. We were able to provide a combined image of MSSQL and Time Machine, which can time travel and make MSSQL come up as to gain better security.
