Solution-Soft Releases Sync Server to Support Scripting Automation & Developer Role Access Control
SANTA CLARA, CA, November 22, 2018 SolutionSoft Systems Inc, the leader in date and time testing software solutions, releases Time Machine Sync Server enhancement.
Solution-Soft has announced the general release of Time Machine Sync Server enhancement of scripting automation and the addition of a developer role for access control. Sync Server is a critical member of the Time Machine® Suite of Products and it makes management and deployment of virtual clocks a breeze.
Sync Server broadcasts and synchronizes the same virtual clock to multiple systems within the same test environment. It also provides HTTP API for consistent and automated virtual time synchronization for complex testing scenarios and routines for distributed applications. Therefore, one URL call from the test script can time travel the whole test environment to boost productivity and enable test automation.
To achieve complete automation; some additional tasks may need to be performed at the time of time travel. For example, time travel mainframe to the same virtual clock, or set an internal business date variable to reflect the time travel. The enhanced optional scripting capability of Sync Server can invoke a user-supplied script automatically to perform those additional tasks.
Sync Server also supports a role for access control. The Administrator role can do everything; while the tester role can only set, delete, or list virtual clocks; but is not able to add, delete, or modify sync group definitions. In addition, this release also adds a new developer role to further fine tune the access control for enterprise deployment.
