SANTA CLARA, CA., April 19, 2018 — SolutionSoft Systems Inc. announces virtual clock rewind for Time Machine
Solution-Soft is adding the rewind feature to Time Machine on the AIX, Windows and Linux operating systems.
Virtual clocks that are not frozen and making use of the rewind feature will not “tick” over to the next day. When the virtual time transitions from 23:59 to 00:00, the date will stay the same. “Many of our customers who are using Time Machine to time travel test their systems are also using IBM or third party time traveling software on IBM zSeries and IBM iSeries for components deployed on those platforms.” said Raymond Watson, Director of Business Development at Solution-Soft. “The rewind capability allows Time Machine to mimic the behavior of these solutions and keep virtual time in sync.”
