Solution-Soft Now Offers Concurrent Licensing for Time Machine®
SANTA CLARA, CA., February 12, 2018— SolutionSoft Systems Inc. announces concurrent licensing for Time Machine with Floating License Server
Solution-Soft is releasing a Floating License Server (TMFLS) to enable the concurrent licensing model for Time Machine. The concurrent model provides flexibility and ease-of-use in dynamic environments and eliminates the requirement to place a node-locked license key on each server. “Use the Floating License Server where configurations of testing resources are subject to change, such as in elastic cloud environments.,” said Raymond Watson, Director of Business Development at Solution-Soft. “Use the Floating License Server when the testing resources may be provisioned as part of a continuous deployment process. Concurrent licensing for Time Machine accelerates the testing process.”
The Floating License Server will host a pool of Time Machine licenses that can be checked out when needed and then returned back to the pool when the service is stopped or the resource is stopped or destroyed. With fail-over and high-availability options available, the TMFL will ensure availability of time shift testing resources.
