This feature is now fully integrated into the Time Machine Enterprise Management Console® (TMEMC) and Time Machine Sync Server® (TMSS).
The rewind option allows users to operate a virtual clock within the same virtual date, where the date rewinds at midnight, enabling new testing capabilities and greater flexibility. This enhancement builds on an existing feature available in Time Machine and Time Machine for Containers, extending its availability and integration across the following key components:
Time Machine Enterprise Management Console® (TMEMC):
The TMEMC, a unified management console, monitors and controls all Time Machine features, including virtual clocks and Sync Server, from a centralized dashboard for enhanced visibility and efficiency. It introduces a new “rewind” checkbox, empowering users to send a remote request to Time Machine remote systems effortlessly.
Time Machine Sync Server® (TMSS):
TMSS manages synchronized time travel and now incorporates support for the rewind option within its sync group definitions, allowing precise synchronization of multiple virtual clocks within the environment. TMSS also supports the rewind feature within its URL API, offering enhanced integration capabilities for developers and enterprises.
