Solution-Soft Adds Pause & Resume Capability to Time Machine® Sync Server
SANTA CLARA, CA – November 24, 2025 – Solution-Soft Systems Inc., the global leader in enterprise time-shift testing, is excited to announce a new Pause & Resume capability within the Time Machine Sync Server (TMSS), an essential component of the Solution-Soft suite of products that enables synchronized time travel across complex, multi-system environments. This enhancement provides instructors, QA teams, and developers with greater control over coordinated time-shift simulations, particularly in training and demonstration settings.
The new functionality allows entire sync groups to be temporarily frozen and later resumed, preserving virtual time alignment across all connected systems. This is especially valuable in instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and hands-on simulations for time-sensitive applications such as PI software, financial systems, and regulatory or workflow-based processes.
This improvement can be utilized through two new API calls within TMSS or through an intuitive GUI of the Time Machine Enterprise Management Console (TMEMC), allowing trainers to stop a session at a critical moment, provide additional explanations, guide participants through complex behaviors, and then seamlessly continue the simulation without losing context or consistency. This brings a higher level of control to time-shifted training and creates a more interactive and effective learning experience.
