New Time Machine release for latest HP-UX

SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 14, 2007 — SolutionSoft Systems Inc, a leading provider of Intelligent Data Optimization (IDO) solutions today announce the general release of Time Machine for HP-UX 11i.  With this recent update Time Machine is now supports both PA-RISC and IA-64 "Itanium" based UNIX systems.

Time Machine® is a patent-pending software application designed to facilitate testing and simulation of specified system dates and times without modifying or resetting the system clock.  This allows defined applications and users to run under any defined future date, past date or time zone desired while the underlying system time remains unchanged.  With this ability Time Machine proves itself as a powerful tool for performing "what-if" testing on systems resources and programs. Time Machine’s unique solution for user-based time morphing for UNIX, Linux and Windows Servers allows test environments to simultaneously run up to 20,000 individually defined virtual clocks at once and supports both group and user level time offsets.

“Solution-Soft has been providing quality software to support the HP customer base since our inception.  Our latest release of Time Machine continues this history and combined with other versions of our software allows us to support any HP user running Windows, Linux or HP-UX” said Michael Morrison, Director of business development at Solution-Soft.

HP's strategic UNIX operating environment, HP-UX 11i v3, makes virtualization easier to deploy and delivers mission-critical virtualization by combining virtualization and mainframe-class availability. Also, with HP-UX 11i v3, important applications, including business intelligence and data warehousing, are now simpler to secure and manage.
